You can use the shuttle bus in the park, but we believe, the best way (and sustainable) way to discover the blue river park is by bike. The park is very flat, large trees create shade on most of the path and this makes a perfect path for cycling.

Jump on your bike at Pont Perignon (Perignon bridge, named after M. Perignon who exploited wood in the region) and enjoy the adventure

You will successively discover the drowned forest and its hundreds of bleached logs, to carry on in the tropical forest. There you will get to see the 1.000 years kaori tree and discover a unique vegetation, isolated from the rest of the world for thousands of year.

Highlight of your day will definitely be your encounter with the Cagou (rhynochetos jubatus), the flightless bird that New Caledonian are so proud of. We have a 90% success rate at finding them on our tour.

After, the giant Kaori, cycle 3 more kilometres, and you will reach Pont Germain (bridge Germain), an ideal place for a swim in the blue water of the river. Appreciate the moment before enjoying your picnic in an exotic scenery.
