Far West Ranch

You will love seeing the region's varied landscapes as you ride your horse by the sea, in the mountains or on a cattle ranch, accompanied by your guide Marion! Choose from a half-day, full-day or 2-day ride with a picnic or a meal with a local resident. Two-day horse-riding excursions include a stopover at the Ouatchoué eco-lodge and meals. The added extra? An opportunity to help herd the cattle on horseback! In recognition of its quality and safety, the Far West Ranch has been awarded the “2 horseshoes” label by the Caledonian Committee for Equestrian Tourism.
Book at least 24 hours in advance.
Wear a hat, sunscreen, closed-in shoes and pants.
Riding hat provided.
Suitable for children aged 5 and over. Young children ride a very calm horse led by Marion. They just need to be able to hold the handle on the saddle. From the age of 7, they ride alone.
