Camping Port-Bouquet is located on the doorstep of the tribe that shares its name. It's a peaceful spot for a weekend away with family or friends. The nearby beach is perfect for swimming and the coconut grove is an ideal place to relax. There's a view of Nému Island, listed as a nature reserve by UNESCO, and further to the left you can see Pa Wéré Island (in the local language). The campsite has everything you need for a successful self-catering stay. Visitors can enjoy a tribal visit and take long walks on the large beach that runs the length of the tribe's land as far as the channel, with its impressive view of Port-Bouquet Bay. On the other bank of the channel you’ll see part of Tupeti Island and on the other side, in the distance, is the Grand-Borendy tribe.
