After ten years spent cruising on his sailing boat Captain Woodin, Didier decided to renovate his family property and turn it into a guest house and campsite. Campers will love the magnificent shady site: a strip of land nestled between the river and the sea. The campsite can accommodate around ten tents and has a sheltered cooking area, an area for showering and bathroom facilities with dry toilets. Electricity is provided by solar panels. There are several different outdoor activities to choose from, including kayak and mountain bike hire, sailing boat excursions and hiking. From July to September, you can enjoy a responsible humpback whale watching tour. The former mining village of Prony was listed as a historic monument in 2007 and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to explore this unique place.
