Philippe and Alan are passionate about what they do and enjoy sharing their knowledge of New Caledonia’s lagoon. Watching turtles swimming from a glass-bottomed boat and sailing above the barrier reef or “shark fault” is suitable for everyone, even very young children and less sporty individuals! Snorkellers can explore this nature reserve in more detail and see the flora and fauna close up. You’ll be given lots of information and useful booklets about what you see. Four different excursions are available, one of them a snorkelling expedition. The equipment is high quality and the guides are very knowledgeable.
    The four excursions are:
    - A glass-bottomed boat trip to the barrier reef and turtle sea grass bed, duration: 1½ hours.
    - A glass-bottomed boat trip to the Poé fault, duration: 1½ hours.
    - A turtle watching glass-bottomed boat trip, duration: 40 minutes.
    - A boat trip and snorkelling expedition to the barrier reef with a snorkelling instructor, duration: 1¾ hours.
